Can SV Pneu Brush be used on Wheels??

    Hi guys

My new wheels have landed, and already ive noticed these are going to be tricky to keep clean - notably where the spokes meet the lip leaves a section that will be impossible to slide a mitt or any regular brush in between

Also the spokes have a squared off edge, and it will be difficult to get my round tipped SV or Zymol wheel brush in there

So was thinking id try the Pneu brush as it has squared off bristles. My question is, are the bristles the same softness as their wheel brush? I dont want to marr the finish on the wheels

Here's a pic to give you an idea

Same bristles as the SV wheel and detail brushes so safe to use as long as it is wet (same as sv wheel brush).

that was my thinking too. I already have this brush in my shopping cart from Phil for my next order and planned on using it as all around detailing brush.

go to an art supply store and buy a fine painting brush, they make all sorts of widths and angles etc, you will need to wrap the metal part with electrical tape, but you will not scratch a thing. I use oil paint brushes, softer then anything that is made for detailing......

    Just my opinion

Like others posted it is the same brush just different shape as the other 2 SV brushes. It can be used for washing, applying Pneu, interior cleaning, and I have used one time to time to apply wheel sealant(Autobahn) in the hard to reach areas.

The SV brushes are great all around.

Three piece wheels. Nice. All the best trying to clean those. Are they for the GTR? Make sure we get pics when they are on.

hahaha i know Ken, ive had 3 piece wheels on all my cars, namely japanese brands like Work and Volk and they are hard to clean to say the least

yeh for the GTR, and pics will follow. Still waiting for my Yoki Advans - they needed to be manufactured as the 21" sizes are not a stock item

ive got some GTechniq C5 coming that ill use to seal them up, hopefully to make cleaning the inside barrels easier

i took the Work wheels off my M3 to sell, and this how clean they were on the inside :yikes:

    god bless those EZ Brushes

i loved the VS-XX wheels on my M3, looked tough and a nicer design/lip than the BBS LM imo.....which we all know are actually made in Japan, not Germany :D

this is the first time ive bought non-JDM wheels, and was very nervous spending upwards of 10K for a relatively unknown brand

im now back to rocking the stockers with 10mm spacers
