Hey guys, My door jambs and engine are usually cleaned often enough so that I only need 2oz of car wash soap + 30oz of water in a spray bottle for maintenance cleanings. Do I need to always mix up a bottle right before I'm going to use it, or can I pre-mix this solution and just let it sit on my shelf for a month or so until I use it. I'm asking because I know some cleaners like ARO can be diluted but have to be used within a few days, since it is water-activated. Is car shampoo the same way? Or maybe it's specific to certain shampoos ??? Thanks, Emile
You should be fine. I used to keep a spray bottle of soap and water for lube when I'd scrape decals and stuff off of windows.
A soap / water solution has an almost indefinite 'shel' life. All you are doing is to dilute the dtergent / soap
what kind of affect if APC been diluted and not use within few days? I diluted with distilled water and left out for one month ... there is nothing wrong with it so far ...
Same principal with Diluting APC, just adding more water to the APC to the APC formula, will have same life as concentrated APC. I have APC sitting around for a month or two and no issues, same with wheel cleaners.
