So, are you happy with the unit so far? And what polishes seem to be working best with this unit?

I'm happy with my flex. I've mostly used Menzerna with it- SIP, 106ff, 85rd. I've had great results with it.

The only complaint I would have with the flex is them metal piece above the BP. It gets pretty warm when u have continuous use. Other than that, i've had no issues with it.

I stepped up to the 3401 from a PC earlier this year. The unit is great. Have used it on some vehicles for serious paint correction and it works significantly better than the PC.

I've had mine for over a year now, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Yes, I'm trying to break into some rotary action, but for doing paid details, I don't stray from the 3401. I've used mainly Menz polishes with mine (SIP, IP, 106FA, Power Gloss, Micro Polish) and some Ultrafina and Meguiar's M105.

was thinking about a flex, but will more likely go with a g110, and further down the road a makita.

I love my flex. I have only had to for about 4 months and it still works like a charm. The flex seems to work very well with the Ceramic Menz polishes.

Exactly. I love mine and mostly use Menzerna 106ff or 085RD. I have also used SIP for more severe swirls.

I started with a UDM but moved up to my Flex DA and I love it. The UDM is still usefull but only use it with the small backing plate for harder to get into places.
Mostly Menz polishes but also Meg's #95. Flex DA and PFW is great with IP and SIP.
(still want a rotary but will wait a little while longer)

    Flex 3403.......

got mine in from Phil.....i put it to work tha past two days doing polish work for a local auto body shop.....polished 4 cars with it....all i can say is WOW WHAT A NICE UNIT......super light...runs really cool...comfortable as anything.....

i cant wait to strap a wool pad on it and have at a boat which is my mainstay during the spring and summer months....this should be perfect for those tough areas that my Dewalt, Makita or Snap On rotarties are just too big......

hoping to shoot some video of it n action this weekend....
