So im looking to changing the image of my card. my old one was from when i 1st started detailing and it was pretty bad lol so heres my new card. I want it to be more professional looking, not too flashy and at the same time giving enough info. I tried to blur out anything that could be considered advertising and i hope you guys can still give me some feedback as too how it looks.

I like the front but not he back. If you are going to pay for printing on the back make better use of it. Maybe list your services or something.

I like it, it is elegant and uncluttered.

Keep everything the way it is, but change the back to white background and black letters where it says EZ. That way, you can write on the card if you need too, for instance if you leave it in someone window or something and just want to write a note, or a price quote.

    Nice and Clean. I like.

Keeping the back (like the others mentioned) white and clear for notes or a short listings of your services will make good use of that space.

You may be able to still get away with a logo, perhaps smaller and in a corner, bottom right perhaps?

the prinitng on the back is free of charge i think and listing the services on the back is what I initaily wanted to do but am against now because I put myself in the cutomers shoes. If i looked at a card that had all that i would feel like its cheesy, cheap, maybe impersonal? so my gf suggested i go simple and i decided a logo would be perfect. also if the customer is interested in any way they can visit my website for the services and portfolio

thanks thats wut im going for

yeh i was thinking of doing that for the exact same reason. i dont like leaving cards on cars but sometimes i just cant help it. For example lately at my school i keep seeing an M6 (thats right) parked in the parking deck where everyone parks their beaters. Now theres this car, theres a red roush mustang, a new camaro and other obvious car entusiasts who might be interested in getting their cars clean. so feel the need to write a note saying nice car i could make it look nicer lol or sumthing like that. but anyways right now im thinking of getting 2 set printed. one with white background and the other black

nice i like the corner idea. I might look into it. Im going to run everything by my gf who is a graphic design major (she gives me lots of criticism about my photoshopping)

I like it! How about enlarging the ez logo, dropping the opacity & aligning on the left, so you can add other text plus leave space for anything handwritten.

Trust me, they won't think it's cheesy. For the 1 person that might think that 100 of them will see the services you offer and appreciate that more. Ask any marketer about business cards and they'll all tell you to utilize as much space as possible.

Over all it's nice, however there is too much negative space, the copy almost seems like it's an after thought!

The back I don't understand, good advice with leaving it blank for place for note or referrals.

this looks awesome thanks alot, do u mind sending me the psd file if it was made with photoshop? i want to change it up a little but use the layout.

and also rite now im 50/50 with the listing of services. I might list the packages i offer such as Full Ext Detail, Full Interior, Polishing, Maintenance Washes, Premium Waxes, etc. and leave some white space for notes or quotes

That's what I'd do. You have to understand that not everyone understand what detailing is. I've had several people think detailing meant pinstriping and I get a lot of people come to me for window tint.

I wouldn't list the services, but if you do, keep it simple. Paint correction, etc, with no prices.

Sure no problem. I didn't save it but I'll recreate it close to that. Just PM me your email address.

Are you using photoshop to design these?

IME, the business card doesnt need to give alot of information to be effective. It just needs to grab the holders' attention. A clean and elegant design that gets the point across should work great, imo. Think about your typical client and notice what they like in a car... Youre business card should reflect that to an extent.

I wud def not put the prices but I don't want to run into the prob of having people think I do pinstripe or painting as mentioned before so I'm going to think about it a it more and see what feels right. And yes Grease I am using Photoshop

ok so heres the final look the front stayed the same and i ordered two different backs. One has the white background to allow me to write notes/appointments and the other is the black one slightly changed, and is for my regular customers and friends. thanks to G: Luv for the idea on the white one and to everyone for their input
