I saw Bryansbestwaxs G35 thread and decided I had to post one myself. Seems to be trending in Toronto. Paint on this car was worse then a 97 Integra I did earlier this year.

Owner picked it up December 2010. Told me he only hand washed and went to the touchless. Dealer told him they would detail the car before pick up :shakehead: Butchering at its finest...

What do you call RIDS if there not random?
A few panels were wetsanded and just left like that... The strange thing was the clearcoat was failing, a 2x2 inch piece on the hood and the trunk lid, sorry no pics. Someone must have been busy on this.

Just a 2 step polish, I promised only 80% correction. May have got 85-90%
Pics are limited due to time. The after shots were taken by the owner and are from the next day after he drove to work in the rain. I don't think he even washed it.

After stripping the car the damage really showed.

Very good turn around, clearcoat failure? Clearcoat getting awfully thin these days. This is another g with crazy scratches on the trunk. I know that area gets dirt accumulation the quickest, so not using the inside handle is like you're rubbing sandpaper on that area everytime you close... I get shivers just thinking about it.

Nice job. The clearcoat on some G's is so dangerously thin. Glad I made you post up your work, not knowingly. Are you in the toronto area?

Thanks guys, Im in York region, been around the forums and just signed up here, but don't really post, time is limited, going to try to post more once in a while. I usually finish in the dark so decent after photos are slim.

@bryansbestwax - too many hack dealership jobs, had to confirm the comment about you getting cars always in rough shape. It's rare for me to get a car in decent shape.

@ carbon - its all DA, dont even use a rotary much, twisted purple or a tangerine pad and most people are happy.
