I have worked on a number of Subarus before, but not many black ones and in the shape this one was in. The owner wanted to make it look good again, and it would not be an easy task. I encountered so MANY issues while working on this paint. It was ultra soft and ultra sticky. The compound was clumping up even on a DA. Finishing polishes weren’t taking all the marring out in one pass and regular polishes were adding their own marring. Compounds that wouldn’t wipe up without a fight. Almost 12 hours went into making this car look better. The sun wasn’t out at all at the start so I took just a few before when it did decide to come out. 50/50 shot Hood Before Compound marring Afters Oh ya, all work done outdoors, just to make things more interesting. Thanks for looking
