This is a big of a rare one for my area. You don’t see too many of these on the road and I am pretty sure this one might be the only one with this paint scheme and graphics in my area. This car is mostly a track car which is nice to see someone use the car for its intended pusposes. It is a 2009 Lotus Elise, and the paint although not in the greatest shape was only going to see a winter prep for the car as it was going to be stored for the winter after the detail. The Process: Wheels were cleaned with AG CWC with a RaceGlaze XL brush and a RaceGlace Wheel brush. The back of the rims were cleaned with a EZ Detail brush bent to reach behind the spokes The body was presoaked with Autowerkes Exclusive APC 8:1 to remove some of the grime and any wax that may have been left over The car was then washed with 2BM and Autowerkes Exclusive Wash Soap, Wax free version (this stuff is very sipper and glides nicely with the Uber sponge The melted rubber was then removed carefully from the paint and PPF film Jambs were cleaned with AM Magic Mist The car was then sprayed with Gtechniq C2 Interior was vacuumed, and the seats were cleaned with RaceGlaze Alcantara Cleaner Dash was protected the Werkstat Satin Prot Carpets were treated with Gtechniq I1 Windows Cleaned with Sprayway Tires with dressed with Silicone and solvent free dressing On to the pics AG CWC working away Bumper has a bit of damage and some rubber and bugs Some rubber along the sides, paint and PPF More rubber Rubber gone All sealed up
