I have been looking to detail one of these for a while, as I used to walk the by them day in and day out at the motors. This is my forth car for the same family, so I wanted to make it look as good as the others. I knew to paint was hard as I spend some time in paint repair at the factory. The brother had done some polishing with the Meguirs 3 step, and I am pretty sure the results aren’t what Barry Meguiar had in mind.
The start, after wash and clay.

Don’t worry guys, the residue in the under hood was cleaned up, I snapped the photos just before the shop was about to close. Thanks for looking.

Thanks. The buffer that did this awesome job before me was a 9 inch random orbital buffers. They should stop calling them polishers cause they dont polish.

Hey, be nice. That's what I use.

I'll put my Simoniz wax buffer up against your Rupes any day of the week.
