Brinkman LED /Halogen Combo light

Anyone used this?
Brinkmann LED / Halogen Rechargeable Spotlight
I have the dual halogen and have been happy with it but I have heard that some have begun to use LED's so I thought this was interesting

I was actually looking for the Dual Halogen link to pass along to another member and found this one.. Seems interesting since I know the halogen works and I have heard of others using LED's

The LED ones don't work as well as Xenon!

 

I've only had experience with flashlights but when it comes to brightness LEDs don't compare to Xenons.

I have the light that the OP is talking about. Walmart for the win at $20. It's worth it as it puts out some serious light from the single halogen beam. The LED is actually good for some colors. Overall the light is worth it.

 

Walmart? Im checking the the nearest one when I get out of the hospital!!

 

I think the Xenon ones are like $15 or $20 at Tuesday Morning. I know they have them at PepBoys for $40.

 

See thst's what I have heard, that while it may not be as bright as the hologen the different light type/source provides a dufferent opportunitty with regards to paint and nature of defect.. same reason why people use a variety of ligh sources in their shops...
