Hey guys, Well I finally finished my last year of highschool and exams so now I have the summer off to detail. This was a great first detail to kick it off. It's a Do-Luck widebody 350Z with an HKS Supercharger. Very fast car and sounds great. He's a local on a nissan/infiniti forum. The paint was in terrible shape as the person who painted the car did a terrible job and the paint was chipped badly after a car cruise. The paint match was off and the in a lot of areas was oxidized and scratched pretty badly. I used Menzerna Powerlock for the second time and it looked amazing on this colour despite the rough paint. I sealed the rims and front Brembos with Blackfire All Metal Sealant along with the exhaust cans and tips. No engine bay or interior work was done. Just a quick wash, clay, wax. All pictures are un-edited. LOL...you can see the reflection of the kids that went crazy for this car. They thought the make was Toyo Exhaust afters Polished and sealed the cans as well Paint is hazy but the reflection is still there Obligatory engine bay shot **Engine was not detailed** Thanks for looking!
Worst color match I've seen in a while! Too bad as it detracts from such a nicely modified vehicle. Great job on it though. After than incident, I see you dont do paint correction any more, or do people simply choose not to opt for it?
Nope I still do, just haven't booked anything yet since I'm restarting my polishing process. So far so good. Thanks!
Thanks! It's only like a 5 second drive from my house. So most customers don't mind if I ask them to go there to take pictures. Plus there are speed bumps all over so they trust me lol.
Great job Brendan. I actually think the color is sweet looking. I also like how they blue flamed the tips :chips:
Thanks! Me to, the metallic really shows in the sun after Powerlock Thanks, started around 10 and finished around 3 or 4. Thanks Ken! Thanks! Me to, very unique.
You're really lucky to be able to work on such beautiful cars man! The 350Z looks HOT! Powerlock is really amazing!! They should use your after pictures in their marketing! That car just shines! GREAT JOB once again!
Thanks Marc! Powerlock goes on effortlessly and comes off just as easy, even after letting it haze on the paint for over 20 minutes.
wow man. sick job. the car looks great and the photos are superb. gotta love the nikons. wheels and everything flow so well.
Thanks! Thanks man, this is the odd time I actually like chrome wheels. That and RPF1s in SBC finish are nice.
Holy crap dude you JUST finished school?! I Just got back from college orientation yesterday! Nonetheless, nice job
