Looking to buy either of these set of quick connects to switch between my hose nozzle and presure washer:

    http://www.amazon.com/Gilmour-Brass...T0GE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1328483836&sr=8-2

    and http://www.amazon.com/Gilmour-Brass...UQH6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1328483836&sr=8-3

    Totals $27.19USD after shipping.

    OR Adam's http://www.adamspolishes.ca/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=608&SEName=adams-brass-quick-disconnect-kit

30.26CAD after shipping and tax. The Adam's set has an extra Male Coupler (3 total) compared to the Amazon set (2).

The Gilmour set has great reviews on Amazon. Any feedback on the Adam's set? Both are about the same price after shipping.
    Thanks.

If the Lowes ones are like the Home Depot ones they leak and are cheap. It's worth the money for the nicer sets.
PS Griots Garage also sells some good ones.

I have the Gilmour disconnect and it works really well. Quality is awesome, but I can't comment on durability because I've only had it for 3 months

I have the home depot ones that are made by vigorro. They were $5 for a set and after a year they don't leak and work fine despite the fact that they are kept outside all year round. If I had to do it again I would add that Adam's shutoff valve to the setup because it is hard sometimes to pop things on and off the hose with all that water pressure

Go to Canadian Tire and get Gardena adapters, apparently there the best and they have a good warranty.

I have had no problems with either if the Home Cheapot or Lowes disconnects, sometimes they get a little sticky, tough to connect/disconnect so I apply Marvel Mystery oil and they are fine for a few months
