This is teh GF's car. It sat on the lot for a several months, but was in really good shape. A couple light swirls, some light fallout, nothing bad at all. Method: Washed - Adams Car Wash, Megs Gold Class Lambs Wool, Grit Guard, etc. Dried - DD WW MF and Adams QD. Clayed - Adams Gray and Mothers QD. Polish - Menz PO85rd on White LC CCS Pad. Finish - Menz PO85rd on Gray LC CCS Pad. Sealed - 2 Coats of CG JS 109 Waxed - SV Smgard. Tires - Adams VRT. Final wipe down the next morning with Adams QD. Additional Stuff: A ton of CG Orange Ultra MFs, Positec PTG, Sun Gun, Flex Polisher. Special Thanks to Phil at DD for all the products!!!! Over all a pretty easy detail. Really nice job. There's something satisfying about detaling out a new car. I know that you should expect to get the car in better shape than you usually do, but I really like making something that most people see as "perfect" into something that they never imagined possible. I'm going to tackle my dad's new Lexus RX. It's fire engine red so some 85RD is going to really make it pop. I'll post pics.
Thanks for the comments. It really cleaned up nice! I have not used the Z16. I like the VRT after 2 applications, the first tends to really soak in. I like to keep my tires with a nice satin finish, I don't care for the super glossy look. That's why I like VRT so much.
