    Hello guys,

I was wondering if there is a such thing that can prevent (kind of) the brake dust. I use Sonax for cleaning but within one drive the wheels become dirty again.
    Many thanks in advance DSC_0132.jpg

thre is not really any thing that can prevent the brake dust from building up. but a wheel sealent or lsp of some kind can keep the brak dust from ruinning the wheels and also make them eaiser too clean. there is products out there that say they repell brake dust like armor all but it didint last long on my wheels or do a very good job.

Not sure if this helps, but a client of mine has special brake pads on his Benz that emit a silver colored brake dust rather than the common brownish/black. They still dust like crazy but it doesn't look as obvious on his light silver BBS wheels.

As Ken says, that's just life, deal with it! :giggle:

Remove each wheel and clean with Sonax FE, clay, then protect with Opti-Coat V2, then re install them and torque the lug nuts to specs.;) If you don't want a permeant coating on them then use SV Autobahn for protection.

Akebono is just one of the more popular pad manufacturers who make pads that dust much less than oem.

if you have the chance, google akebono, and you'll find reviews as to the brake dust reduction and preformance of the pads themselves.

In most cases, you may sacrifice some initial bite, but it may be worth it to alleviate some of the brake dust if you are not going to track the car etc.
