Wanted to see if any of our friends across the pond have ever used this rotary??? Specs look to be 750 - 3000 rpm, but has M14 screw threads. Just wanted to see if there were any pros or cons, before I potentially tried tracking one down to bring into the states. From my research, it looks like a 110V version is available. Thanks.

I tried to do some research for you. Which wasn't the easiest thing. Here is the only web site I could find that was any good...Tooled-Up.com...L198.60 which is around 140.00USD

You're right they do have two types. look twice before you pull the trigger.

    1-1200 Watt 110 volt
    2-1200 Watt 240 volt

Have you checked on the cost of shipping yet?

What happens if you need warranty work. Are you going to be able to have it done In the USA
It does seem like a nice machine. Good luck...:thumb:

Are you just looking for a new toy or are you tired of the Flex rotary? Just curious as you are one of the few that use that and I have been considering a Flex rotary.

More of just looking for a new toy so to say. I've always been a big Bosch power tools fan and got to thinking it might be nice to have their rotary. I definitely need to clock in more hours on the Flex though. The Flex is pretty easy to handle seeing as it was about the same size as the 3401 (but lighter).

I've seen one in the local tool store here. It has a funny sideways scrolling speed control and the trigger needs to be pushed forward before being pulled up (didn't see a trigger lock either btw). Coming from using the Makita 9227 for some time it felt really awkward and uncomfortable but each to their own I guess ;)
