Went today with my other half. The plant tour was AWESOME. I highly recommend going to see this, (if you're into that kinda stuff).

That place is awesome! I had to go there for a few days for BMW training. Did you get to go to the racetrack?

Very cool, if I remember correctly, when you buy or order a new BMW you can pay to have the car shipped there and get lessons on the track.

Actually, you don't pay anything. If you want to pick up your X5 or X6 (and soon X3) at that Spartanburg plant, you can. And included is track training at their test track. Very Cool!

We didn't go to the track, that's for another trip back up there. The cool thing is, you don't have to own a BMW to take courses at their test track, you pay, you play. They provide the cars... :applause2:

Wow, you're lucky. That place looks amazing, too bad their leaving F1.

I stopped by there a few months ago on my way home from Atlanta. It was a Monday, and they weren't giving any tours, but the place was open. I walked around in there for a couple hours, just looking at stuff. Pretty neat.

They need to fire their detailer though. The paint on some of the cars was disappointingly bad.

I know, I noticed swirl city on most of their vehicles on display.

I wondering where Kubica will end up. IT seems un-natural for a brand like BMW to be leaving such a large motoring venue, but I'm sure there is a LOT of drama behind the scenes in F1, driving this decision. Let's hope that at least Peter Sauber can buy the team and keep it together, with Kubica and Heidfeld there.
