Client saw a few of my write ups on a different forum and decided he wanted to bring his M3 to a perfect condition. The car didn't look to bad upon arrival *sun was going down* once I had washed and stripped the many coats of what appeared to be glaze I was left with tons of rids, swirls, and clay marring from a previous detail... All I was missing was Hologram's and it would have been complete. Took over two days just to compound it with myself and Robby. Long story short the car was brought back to a perfect state.

That is some great work, thanks for sharing. Very interesting hood split tape job. It really showed the difference effectively but I bet it was a pita to 3 step the 1 inch lines to correct after, no? In any case it made an interesting photo so thanks for the effort.

The owner must be using a dirty towel to wipe this car down regularly or using a kitchen scrub pad. This guy actually has the most uniform marring I have ever seen so at least you know he is through and consistent LOL. Great save- the car look like a pool of oil.

When you clean such dirty wheels with Sonax and the deep purple runs on fresh concrete does it leave a stain? When I use Sonax on my wheels the once or twice a year they need something stronger I wash it in the street because I am concerned with staining.

    Thanks for posting.

Looks OK if you want a perfect finish car. That's a tough colour to dial in! Great as usual. How are you liking the van
