Hello all, Long time lurker and admirer of everybody's work here. Wow, there are some top notch detailers here! I am a full time detailer, working out of a two bay, separate shop at a home based location. I do only high end work on everything from Porsches to station wagons. Here goes my first post. . . BMW (F30) 335i M-Sport receives a "Stage III" detail at Status Auto Detailing in Springfield, Mo. Included in the Stage III detail: -Thorough foam cannon soak and 3 bucket wash method (1 for wheels)--Dawn and Meg's Hyper Wash -Clay via nanoskin fine grade sponge. -Thorough Jamb and engine detail--OPC -Deep wheel clean--Wolf's Deironizer (Normally I use Sonax, but was testing wolf's) -Paint deironizer--Wolf's (Normally I use IronX but again was testing Wolf's) Considering the Auto finesse product. Should I order some? -Multi Stage paint Correction--3-5" meg's mf pads and m105 mixed with D300 3-5" flat foam pads with m205. Mostly Griots Polisher (switching to Rupes soon) Some Rotary and Porter Cable -Opti-Coat Pro (ALL photos are prior to coating) paint and wheels -Windshield coated with Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Glass coating -Tires dressed with Meg's Hyper dressing undiluted -Engine dressed with hyper dressing at 4:1 These pillars are buttery soft. You have to be delicate to finish them out properly Wolf's in action I was able to correct around the curves of the recessed license plate area, better by rotary. Corrected the front grill partially by machine and partially by hand. Thanks for looking! Hope you enjoyed this beautiful car.
