anyone use Blue Ribbon products other than me. I have been using them for 18 years and it would take a miracle product line to make me change. But don't get me wrong I am always open to trying new products if they are highly recommended by multiple detailers.

btw : I am not a rep or associated with Blue Ribbon in any way..

At least you waited three posts before mentioning Blue Ribbon. We are watching you... (Evil Laugh in the background)

    That's what they all say.

Have to honestly say i never heard of this line of products. If you read through the topics and threads, you'll find out various product lines being used with great results. No offense, but how come if this product is so outstanding, its not better known ? Thanks

LOL ... I Run a Detailing business out of my home garage and keep my neighbors happy with oustanding prices. zoning issues are the only problem I could run into. I plan to build a Morton Building home/shop within a year or two.for those of you who are not familiar with the products here they are they have been around since 1900 so I am surprised as well that none of you have heard of them. Now as for outstanding and compared with other products all I can say is there are probably many other brands that are equivelant if not maybe better . For me after 18 years of using them I am used to them and they work for me. in April 09 my website will be up and you'll see that I am not a product rep ..... I bet you do get a lot of reps passing through the group though . Because I am reading some impressive post here and I can see there is great talent and knowledge...

As I was reading your post it hit me that Blue Ribbon allows companies to sell the line under their own name. I am not saying this is the only reason that they are not as known but maybe they are being sold under a different name. I'll look into that and see what I find.. Like I said in the previous post. I am not saying this product is the finest thing in the world I am just saying for profesional Detailing they will help making a pretty decent living.

here would be a list of what I use on basically every car.
    Red Rage-degreaser
    Tar,wax,and grease remover-solvent
    Mag & Wheel brightner-acid based
micro seal 2000 and #99 compound( if needed)
for used car lots I slap on Sta-On glaze
    Black Beauty swirl mark remover
drawing a blank on the name -polymer paint sealant
    Upholstry cleaner
All-purpose Dressing--I love the look and smell so do my customers.
they have cans of Foam-it which works nice for all purpose cleaning
I am getting a little tired but I think that is the run down. As for any company they all have spin offs of their super selling products so just watch out for that with any product line.

Some non Blue Ribbon products I use.
I use Sprayway non amonia Glass cleaner and their Leather Cleaner. works well but
for Leather I have always used BR's Soft Glo conditioner but I recently ordered some Leatherique products to try I had looked into Zaino products a little bit but it's seems kinda 50/50 on what people think of them.I may try them anyway to set my own opinion. I also use some of Rightlook.com's leather cleaner and conditioner, they work well.I am always keeping my eyes open for products.which you have to in this business or any other business for that matter. If you or anyone knows of some super products I should try feel free to share them. I am a very open minded person and I want the best stuff out like anyone else.. I did see something about some swiss company that gets between $700 -$1100 for their nuba wax. Does it apply itself while you watch tv? or is it a really outstanding product?

Just curious. I had posted the addy for the products because someone had asked and it was deleted from my post. maybe I didn't see it right but I thought the forum topic was about Detailing products we use? I was just looking for a detailing group where everyone talks about what they use and what works for them so others could see. If this forum is a business selling a line of products then I apologize and I'll keep looking for an open group. Please private message it to me. and just to be very clear I don't sell these products I use them.I didn't come here to be a problem I came here to have fun and learn and share my experiences.

I have used a couple of blue ribbon products and they are IMO very good! Micro seal, foam pad polish and fantastic finish to name a few of them. Have you tried their new compounds? Their home page is not updated =/

So far other than myself you are the only person I found anywhere online that even knows of them or will say they know of them. Shocking...lol . What blows my mind as many how many pro detailers are out there and have never heard of them. There are a lot of great products out these days though .And their site doesn't come up just under BlueRibbon. but I suppose I won't post it again until I get a response of why it was removed from my earlier post. Just trying to be helpful. They have been around the world for 109 years that gotta say something... If anyone wants to send me a sample of a product they think is better I would be more than happy to try them.

Seems to be an odd combination of products, Pure Carnauba Hard Paste Wax and 120-Day Plus Toilet Bowl Cleaner.

I checked their website and I didn't realize the Ceramabrite ceramic top cleaner I used was made by them

I have been using them for a couple of years. Micro seal applied with a finishing pad and rotary is awsome. The new compounds looks interesting, have you tried them?

I pretty much stick with the #99, Micro Cut, Micro seal, I use the Sta on glaze for used car stuff that gets em flyin off the lots . Don't get me wrong I compound out any major scratches that would detour a customer from the vehicle. even in the 18 years I have been using them there are many BR products I haven't tried. I think that's because I found a few that can handle every situation for the most part. You have any favorites? I love the all-purpose dressing.

It was me that removed the links, the reason I removed the link is that I felt it was a bit odd of someone that just joined start posting links to a product no one has ever heard off, I'm referring to DetailinDude, sorry I should have notified you guys that I removed the link, my apologies, just trying to keep the spam away from the forum that's all.
