Blue Point ECFLED18 Review

I've had this for a while and decided to do a proper review on it. It's a clamshell style LED light with a swinging hook on it that makes it a great tool for detailing in and outside of the car.

It works pretty well to show haze and swirl marks in the paint because of its 18 LEDs, and is fantastic on the interior. Obviously it is cordless and the design makes it great to stand it anywhere inside the car, or hang it under a seat for vacuuming. The clamshell opens up and locks in 5 different positions, so you could sit in on the floor at a 90 degree angle, open it all the way and lay it on a seat to illuminate between the seat and console, etc. The hook is a great tool too. You can hang it from just about anywhere the 360 degree rotating hook can wrap around (~3/4 inch opening) and aim the light. I like to use it sitting in the 90 degree angle to show under the seats clear as day where dirt is. The unit is rechargeable and lasts 7 hours on a full charge. It beats dragging in those big work lights. Priced at $60.
