Just tried this combo on my car this weekend and absolutely loved it. It leaves a very deep, warm finish that is very slick to the touch. I was wondering if anyone has tried the Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray with Polycharger and how you might compare it to Pinnacle Crystal Mist.

    Edit:
    Prep work:\
-Car was washed with CG CWG Shampoo to strip off LSP.
    -Clayed
-Polished with Flex 3401, Menzerna Power Finish with white pad, Menzerna Micro Polish with gray pad (Menzerna Top Inspection was used to remove polish)
-2 layers of Blackfire Wet Diamond 8 hours apart, followed by 1 layer of Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax. Another layer of the wax was added one week later.
-Final wipe down with FK 425.
-Tires dressed with Z16 and wheels sealed with Opti-Seal.

I bought the kit this winter and i'm gonna try it this spring. Did you do the sealant twice 8hrs apart & the nuba 8hrs later? If so got any pics? This is one wax i'm surprised never gets any love on the boards. Every other product i've bought from them is top notch.

I agree, Blackfire is a product I've read quite a bit about but have never tried it my self, certain products sound good others don't really get my attention.

Here is the hood on a RRover that has a couple coats of BF Midnight Sun. Its a great wax because unlike most Nubas, it doesn't mute the metallic. Very easy to use as well.

I've heard that Midnight Sun is a clone of Pinnacle Souveran. Ex-co-owner of Pinnacle owns Blackfire. Which means its a great product. Wonder if durability is the same or better.

I've got both, Souvern and Midnight Sun and I think they are different. The Souvern is very soft compared to the Blackfire. The Souvern is a very wet looking wax where I find the MS to be sharper, mainly because of the polymers in it so it will cross link with the Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection more effectively. Two coats of Blackfire should be good for 3-4 months. Just my opinion.

Hmmm. wonder if its an updated formula, or something in between Souveran and Wolfgang Fuzion...

You said it wont mute the metallic flake, does that include the application of the sealant?
As you know it's a two part process.
    Thanks 911.

The addition of the sealant will only help to make the flake pop even more. I did a black Ciivic with Midnight Sun over FMJ and the red flake looked awesome. You will very much enjoy this combo.

Yes, I did two coats of the sealant 8 hours apart and then one coat of the nuba 8 hours later. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take pics because it started to drizzle before the wax fully cured and before I got a chance to take pics. I'll try to take some this weekend if not does not rain. I might add another layer of the nuba as well.

Both the sealant and the nuba make the metallic flakes pop. Another nuba that really makes the flakes pop is P21s100%. I have yet to find a nuba that makes metallics pop like P21s100%.
