And since I'm in a thread starting mood today:sorry::giggle:

What's the word on Midnight Sun??

After reading all the reviews and actually seeing some Wet Diamond results, I think this is going to be my next sealant experiment. Is the Midnight Sun a pure carnuba designed to be used over the other?? Thoughts?? (Just thought I'd bring this one up as searching didn't turn up too much on the Midnight Sun)

And why doesn't Autogeek cary BlackFire stuff?? Where do you guys get it from?

You can purchase BF MS from proper auto care. Autogeek does not carry it because they are a direct compititor to them. Long story short, the two used to be partners(developed the pinnicale line) and then split up. Supposedly BF MS is the new and updated version of souveran.

You can also get Blackfire from Ken at Autowerkes and support a forum sponsor and get the best customer care.

    Is Ken still a sponsor?

Oh dang! Guess, I've been gone for too long. He is still an awesome vendor and you can still order from him.

BFMS is an awesome wax. On and off very easy. Has additional polymers to eliminate the flake muting that is normal with most nuba's. Expect around 3 months per application.

BF MS is good reflection and deep

Galaxy, I know you had posted you like Mothers FX. I find WG Deep Paint Sealant closer to that look than BFWD. BFWD leaves a more coated look (warm on black compared to WG). They both are fine but WG seems more neutral.

Yea...I kinda jumped the gun on that one...LOL! I posted that thread right after using it. Yes, I did/do love what it does for the color on my blue car and it is about the easiest product I've ever used, but it has horrible durability. I literally mean zero. After the next wash (with no extreme weather/conditions between washing...just normal driving) there was no water beading qualities at all. Water would just sheet up and stand there. Towels felt very restricted with a lot of friction just trying to drag across the surface for drying. I'll never use it again.

I'm going with my Wet Diamond plan topped with either the Midnight Sun or Pinnacle SS II.

Hmm. It has lasted much longer than that more me. The spray wax lasts a few weeks including some rain/wash cycle.

It will be interesting how you like BFWD since it has a totally different look.
