Well I got some Black WOW from Chris at eShine and have been waiting to try it out. I have been waiting to get some neglected trim and see what this stuff could do. Well I hadn't gotten any and after my morning detail I had time this afternoon to wash my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have kept the trim (and there is a lot of it) looking pretty good with Poorboys Trim Restorer. I knew the Jeep really didn't need the Black Wow but I wanted to use it so badly I figured might as well. Like I said the Jeep's trim looks good so I figured there wouldn't be a very noticeable difference.

Well I started by cleaning all the trim with a 50/50 water/alcohol mixture. I then decided to do a 50/50 test. I taped off half the trim on the passenger side and used a pea size amount of Black Wow on a foam applicator and spread it over the trim. I pulled the tape off and here is what I saw:

Needless to say I was astounded at the difference. I did all the trim which like I said was a lot of trim on the Grand Cherokee. I used 7 pea size amounts on the foam applicator to do all the trim and door handles and bumpers. A little of this stuff goes a long ways. After the treatment I washed the Jeep and after washing the trim looked just as good as it did before. I like this about the product because I can use it first and then wash the car instead of cleaning the car and then having to be so careful when treating the trim. This product is well worth the money and I can't wait to use it on some really neglected trim.

I also took some pics of the beading of the Lusso on the Jeep before I started washing. The Lusso has been on for 2 weeks and the Jeep is outside 24/7. I was still impressed with the beading of the Lusso. It looks as good as it did the day I applied it. Here are some pics:

Notice the beading on the trim treated with Black Wow:

    Nice stuff

Question: how does this look compared to the PB's? Was the final product that dramatic when using PB's?

Durability on this stuff is repoted to be like no other..

    Thanks for the info!

The Black Wow is much darker than PBs. Heck I used PB's Trim Restorer about a week ago and you can see the difference it made. Also my door handles have never looked as black as they do now.

Always glad to help you spend YOUR money bro!!!:woot:

Seriously though I don't think you will be disappointed. I am looking forward to using it on the Volvo because I always thought it would look better if it was darker. Also there are a couple of spots where some baffoon hit it with a buffer (no wasn't me :p:) that I'm really thinking the Black Wow will help out.

    wow, that looks great.
Would it work good on both smooth and textured trims?
PB TR doesn't work all that good on smooth...looking for a replacement.

The trim around the bottom is smooth and you see how good it looks and my door handles are textured and they never looked as black as they do now. Just an amazing product!

    Oh and also,
about cleaning trim with ISO, is it just rubbing with a towel (something that has a little bite)?
is it ok if the towel comes out black?

I just used a MF with the 50/50 and yes it did come out black. I assume that was just the mixture pulling all the old dressings off along with the dirt.

Looking forward to hearing about the durability of Black WOW, looks like it came out nice. Does it leave the surface greasy at all?

Im not sure how good of a sign beading is in terms of durability. Sure its one of them, but did you test it any other way?
