So I just got my very first order in from overseas and from RubbishBoys! Thanks Ben:applause2: One of the products I purchased was the BH Auto Wash. Upon reading the directions, it shows some very promising properties especially with the no sodium content to help prevent premature rusting if you have any rock chips like I do. The size of the bottle is comparable to my SV auto bathe at 300mL. It says to use 5mL for one bucket. I am a cook by trade and jacked several shoyu "soy sauce" buckets from work and use that as my washing buckets. They are 5 gallons each and are a perfect fit for grit guards. My question to those who have used this wash is, when they mean bucket...what are your dilution ratios? I've only used it once yesterday so I did the 5mL for 5 gallons. When using the wash, it did not suds up like other shampoos which reminded me of my Glare Shampoo and SV auto bathe softened with a little ONR. Overall i'm happy with the results of the wash as it cleaned up a fairly dirty truck and rinsed off easily with minimal streaks if any. Let's hear your thoughts!
I found the same thing with it. Its supposed to be a tablespoon or so per 4 gallons of water. I tend to use a bit more than that, closer to an ounce or so and then it foams up real nice and still rinses cleanly. Great soap. I threw some ONR in my bucket with it yesterday. It would still foam up nicely but man was it slick on the paint.
:thumb: No problem, and thanks very much for the order. I believe that when Bilt Hamber say bucket they are referring to a 10Ltr bucket, a fairly common small bucket that you get in the UK (approx 2 UK gallons). It's not an overly sudzy (is that a word ) shampoo though, but does clean well.
thanks for the advice. After doing some quick calculations, I think it's safe to say that i'm good with about 9-10mL of soap for our buckets. I'll try to see how it fares with some ONR inside.
