.....for ONR BABY! was quite cold this morning, and aside from the wheels, i wasnt really feeling using the hose. ONR to the rescue. anyways, this low-mileage (13,XXX) E46 M belongs so the same person that owns the jeep commander i did a little while ago. this detail was a winter prep/enhancement detail, as it will be covered and garaged through the winter. being a low mileage vehicle, it was basically mint, aside from a few blemishes here and there and an interior that needed some tidying up. for the most part, the correction consisted of refining the cars finish. there were some RIDS, and barely any swirls at all. i ONR washed the car, which was fun, and i decided to ONR the convertible top as well (never done this before, or seen it done before), and it worked out really well actually. the top was relatively clean, and i would not recommend ONR'ing a really dirty convertible top. in this case, it was just what the doctor ordered. great work billy ... I missed a great detail! Thanks again for the invite. Let me know next time ... I took the little one to pick apples north of Allentown and had tons of fun. Do you want to trade products for freshly-picked apples? LOL. I don't know if BMW's have the same issue, but I hated the upkeep on my GTO's red leather. They needed to be constantly treated because they tended to turn pink fast.
yeah maybe we'll get together for the next one. but i completely understand man, family comes first always. thanks a lot ken. the convertible top was just the regular fabric top. i tried ONR'ing it as it was almost spotless as it was, and didnt feel like soaking down the whole top and scrubbing it down was necessary, especially since i was ONR washing the car anyways, so i fugred id try ONR'ing the top, and it worked out quite nicely. a good amount of dirt was pulled from the top by simple dragging my wash sponge across it with two hands. everyone else: thanks for your kind words!
