Im looking for a wax and possibly a sealant as well that will make my white pearl with blue ghost pearl really pop and give lots of depth .

heres what i have tried so far . from what worked best to least not counting durability though

opt spray wax (brings pearl out like crazy and makes paint feel like butter but no durability)use every once in a while as a drying aid

dodo banana ( made it yellowish and brought the white pearl out a little )

    colli 845
    vics mayhem
    autoglym hd

The last 3 didnt do much but have good depth and look great on black . What to try next ?

Menzerna Powerlock or another sealant IMO. Sealants are optically clear, so it won't mute the flake at all. I would at least try a sealant seeing as you've only tried waxes so far.

I use sealant on lighter color cars. And sealant then wax on darker colored cars. I suggest Powerlock. FInal

actually, do this process: werkstat acrylic prime, then ajt x 2, then rboe. That would look awesome. On my pearl white dd, i just use rboe because I.m out of ajt and prime.

    I would suggest Werkstat AJT.

Klasse AIO or Werkstat Prime and then top with Collinite 845. I did K-AIO/845 combo on my dad's boat and it made the white paint look great. And it makes sense since 845 is also a marine/RV wax and most boats and RV's are white.

Iv been wanting to try both powerlock and rboe for a while . Workstat system sounds interesting though . Do you think i should go with powerlock or the prime and jett trigger ? i gonna go ahead and get rboe for sure . I keep waiting cuz someone always has one for sale on here and i miss out by an hour or so lol . autoglym hd isnt very impressive on white imo .

I have a pearl white car and did the jeffwerkstat combo... to me, the pearl didn't pop as much but it made my car really white though.

I had a combo one time that made my pearl spark but i forgot what it was :(

I just put in a order from autoworks and rubbish boys . Ended up going with werkstatt prime, AJT and Rboe .Hope it looks good . Whats the difference in the 4 different versions of prime ? I got the regular prime . I will be using ez creme under the prime .Is that ok ? Or should i use the ez creme over the prime then AJT and top with RBOE ?

In my experience, the Werkstat products look great on white but I have always been disappointed with durability. Werkstat, in my experience, only lasts a couple of months at best and loses its slickness sooner. This was on a well prepped surface with Prime Strong followed by AJT x2.

I now use Collinite 845 as it is easily twice the durability of Werkstat, WAY better slickness and beading, and IMO looks 95% as good on white. I use it exclusively now on my white M3 as durability is more important to me than anything else and, with 845, it looks great to boot!

I so much wanted to love the Werkstat products (because AJT is so easy to use) and used them for about a year and a half and just could not get over the lack of durability. If I had stayed with AJT, I would have reapplied monthly to maintain protection which, over time, becomes costly.

To get the most out of any metallic or pearlescent color, I think the most important thing is to get the prep work as perfected as you can get it. This is the results of a detail I just did on a hammered G35 after doing a one step polish with XMT360 and a coat of Collinite 915 which I find is excellent on metallic and pearlescent paints.

i hope the durabilty isnt to bad . Iv used colli 845 plenty of times and yes you cant beat the durability but i will sacrifice a little for the look im after . iv noticed 845 looks great on solid white or black but only decent on pearl whites .

Yup i know its all in the prep and believe me my prep cant get much better . I dont have a IP g35 . its my own mixed color painted by me .Its a lot whiter than IP and has white and blue ghost pearl in it . Body lines turn blue in the sun .

think prep is a issue ?Heres my car that im talking about .The closeups are without any lsp after wetsanding and 3 step correction . The pearl changes a lot . Btw i painted the car in the garage the pics are in !

Wow, that is a sharp looking car and I am not the worlds biggest fan of G35s. I will say that the thing that helps you get the best looking paint is the fact that your car is virtually orange peel free. That said if I was in your position, I would try the Werkstat Acrylic set personally.
