We recently did a correction job on a brand new Mustang GT CS convertible. Owner goes home and washes it with well water and lets it air dry. "What are all these white spots on my paint?" she says. What water spot removers have you actually tried and been impressed with?

I have been using Pro C30. It is an acid based gel and is very strong.

I believe Bob (auto concierge) uses Mark V Splash to good effect too.

You probably already know this but if the spotting has not had a lot of time to set, a light polish like po85 stands a good chance of getting it off.

Are you taking a hit and repairing the customer's mistake?

Nope. She knows she messed up and is expecting a bill. :) She is moving in a few months to a house on city water so we'll get it back then.

    Oh good!
I am always curious to hear how my fellow detailers handle customer complaints.

Shane you use the ProC30 on paint as well ? Aside from the harder stuff(chrome, glass etc..) what have you safely used it on?

Hey Mike, I have used it on the underside of a few hoods.
