    Wax- Best of show (smagrad)

Manufactures description(swissvax UK)- Enriched with pineapple and cinnamon oil extracts containing 51% by volume of ultra pure Brazilian non bleached and yellow carnauba wax. Best of Show wax gives your paintwork a lustre ordinarily encountered only on prize winning classics.Best of Show win at European Concous d'Elegance in Dusseldorf.200ml

    tub size
-Standard 200ml tub, which was black with the swissvax stickers including directions.

Application amount- Very small amount, did an Acura MDX with it and you could not tell I have even touched the wax. Very little was used.
Price per application- N/A as I don’t know what the wax costs, but I don’t see it being very high.

Colour- The was wax a pinkish brown colour, it was nothing weird or anything bright that stands out. I’m not sure what to compare it to.

Smell- WOW this is strong, I cannot place it but this is one fruity smell. It becomes to much. This is a big complaint for me. It was like waxing with a smelly thing stuffed up your nose. It was ok at the beginning but as the detail went on I started to hate the smell.

Texture- This wax was very hard, It has been a while since I have used a hard wax. I would compare it to say PS in terms of hardness. Maybe even a little harder.

Directions to Apply- this wax is supposed to be applied via bare hands, it says it needs the heat (as many waxes in this price range do). It says to let sit for 10 minutes and buff off.

How we did it- We did not follow directions. We used an applicator. I was tasked (thanks Carlos) the job of applying and removing this wax , my hands are pretty rough and beat up these days combined with what I think is the worlds softest clear coat we decided to use an applicator.
So I took a few swipes of the wax and had at it. It’s a pretty basic process.
A couple things I did notice are: the wax went a vey long way, it was not hard to spread thing, and two I found the wax to be “sticky” the applicator would get stuck or at least grab as I was waxing. Something I have not experienced with this given applicator.
I then let the wa stand for 10 minutes and started buffing. As usual this buff was very simple.

Buffing- I used a blue cookie monster from eshine. This wax was a pain to remove…… just kidding this wax was so easy to remove, almost as easy as shield. I was pleasantly surprised; I was ready for the fight of my life but was surprised at how easily it came off. No hassle, no struggling nothing. Just ease. It was nice for a change.

Look- It left the paint deep and soaking wet. I was shocked as I know Carlos was. This wax has an awesome look (pics to come when Carlos posts them) I was stunned at the look it left.
It was so good we got a holy $%(* when the owner walked in to pick it up. I cannot stress enough how much I liked this

Flaws- The smell, good lord. The availability of BOS in north America.

Final thoughts- What more can I say about this wax? It left an awesome awesome look, smelled horrible but was very easy to work with. I will def be picking one up for my personal collection.

Thanks for reading, any comments or questions

ah. I just have a bad sense of smell unless close to the product. But, I dont mind the passion fruit smell. I do think Z destiny and atlantique smell better. I was surprised that vintage didnt have the same smell, its rather neutral compared to the SV and Z products I have. But the smell of a product isnt really a concern for me.
