Backing plate for Meguiar's 3" DA MF pad?

Will the Uber 3" backing plate fit the Meguiar's 3" DA microfiber pads?

If not, what are my options for BP?

 

I use the uber BP with my MF cutting/polishing pads. I don't use the meguiars anymore but rather the optimum ones (3.25).

 

Chase I highly recommend the Mirka plate the Kevin sells. It blows away the megs one IMO. :thumb:

Do you have the griot's 3 inch DA?

If not, I sometimes can get away with using my 3 inch MF discs on the full sized griots DA, and I use a custom backing plate, basucally I had a machine shop laser cut the 6 inch griots BP that came with the machine down to 3 inches....so it backs all the way to the edge on those pads...I use a mirka for my 5.5" pads
