backing plate extension screw? and handle

i seen this on flex or other rotary polisher that they have longer screw extension(maybe inch or two for backing plates. is it ok to use it on PC? if yes then where can i get one thats not arm and leg

also i think new maguairs polisher has this U handle, where can i get one or i have to make one. couse one that comes with it is not good or comfortable

Well I had made an adaptor for M14 backing plates (M14 is UK threads). It works great and it provides extra clearance, I've also made the same adaptor as 5/8th (North American thread standard) again just for clearance.

Any who, I've never seen one for a PC. Not sure if there is one for the PC but I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll find one.

An extension is not recommended for a pc becaúse the oscillating action of the machine may unscrew the bp
And cause damage to the paint.
