Mmmm... black... it sure makes the owners feel bad and detailers feel good The car is a custom widebody E92 335i with M3 parts around it. Couple notes before I start listing everything. -3M backing plate for rotary = AWESOME -I need more pads... -Need a duster... -Stop inviting friends over cause they mess with things  Materials Wash & Dry Micro chenille mitt CG Citrus Wash and Gloss Grit Guard Waffle weave drying towel Clay CG Clay Clear Kote Quik Shine All purpose Microfiber towel Engine Bay CG Grime Reaper Costco MF towels Paint Correction Hitachi Rotary Polisher SP18-VA Black pad White pad Orange pad Menzerna SIP - orange Menzerna 106FF - white or black 50/50 Isopropyl/water mixture Protection CG Jetseal 109 Foam applicator pads All purpose microfiber towels Clear Kote Quik Shine LSP CG 50/50 Wax Foam applicator pads All purpose microfiber towels Clear Kote Quik Shine Wheels and Tires EZ Detail Brush - for inside of wheel CG CWG P21S Wheel Gel Swissvax Wheel Brush - for wheel face Micro chenille mitt - for tires Swissvax Pneu Klasse AIO Before pictures, the paint correction process was go over everything with SIP and orange then everything again with 106FF in white. The trunk was had a clear bra over the entire thing so I just went over that once with 106FF on black. Yes, this did take forever, and black... is awesome There are no before pictures since it was pretty clean anyway. Let's just start with the heavy stuff! Man, this dude washes his cars with rocks! This is a pretty nasty scuff that he got just out of nowhere. I'll update this one later! and he is ready to start! Did I mention that this thing is awesome? passed with SIP and 106FF after one pass of SIP update on the previous scuff it's a party when ironic's car is here! Engine bay after clean up. No dressing. I'll get some eventually... What if ironic went blue....? My friends went ahead and did that while they were bored. After LSP Sorry, but I forgot to tell him to take some pictures of the rear too. Enjoy! edit: I apologize for the marks on the thread that do some advertising. I will take them out, but they are the only pictures I have that show the entire car. If they bother any of the admins, i will remove them ASAP.
Wow I know who's car this is I see it all the time on e90post/e46fanatics. It's a very convincing m3 look alike. Great job on the detail, that JB looks awesome!
Awesome car, too much sea green on the mirrors though. They should be black with a stripe down the middle horizonatally. Awesome work as well, looks awesome.
Gorgeous vehicle and the before compare to afters are very rewarding, black is a gorgeous colour to detail :wicked: Thank you for sharing eace:
yeah he is quite popular on those forums thanks! that's a combination of a proper detail and a good photographer! haha that's too much green. i think he wanted just enough green to be crazy, but he also wants the flexibility of switching to another color theme the mirrors look a little better in person imo, but yeah, it really gets a lot of people to just go ehhhh thanks nica! haha that's what the owner was like yeah! thanks man! thanks! yeah, black is my new favorite color to detail. it lets me see everything i'm doing so it's great! yeah e90post ftw! that could be a pretty powerful car too!
