On Dirty Engines/Compartments I will put an old sock around my Hand/Digits. When I'm done, in the garbage they go. :golf:

 

It would have been nice to have kept all those single socks when their other half went missing. As for those gloves I did see them before, but was more thinking about something to apply waxes or dressings evenly without squeezing the sides of the applicator.

I'm now starting to see the applicators with the little handle on top so you can get a better grip and that doesn't look so bad. I guess that would work too.
