Have you guys tried this wax? Canadian Tire just started carrying AutoGylm and I've been thinking about giving that wax a try. I don't usually buy OTC product but I was thinking it might be worth a try anyways.
i picked some up on my last trip to walmart but I have not tried it on a car yet. There are so many mixed reviews on this product I had to try fo myself. Some have said it beads like crazy some have claimed it sheets, some have said it lats up to 50 washes some say 4. Searching on detailingworld will yield tons of threads.
I own a pot... it works well, but it smells pretty bad because it's petroleum based (the old "water and oil don't mix" principle). It bonds well (I used Zymol HD Cleanse prior to applying wax) and lasts for about three months on exposed paintwork through regular weekly washes. It's quite a deal actually because it comes with two pre-moistened applicators and an AutoGlym mf towel. The other hand applicator that you can get (I think it's like this plasticy-foamy stuff) seperately isn't really worth it. FYI. But it's definately the best OTC car wax you can buy.
I love Autoglym HD on my metallic grey Mustang. It is very reflective and brings out the metal flake in the paint like crazy!
