Autogeek... things suck!

    Well I spent $110 at AG before any price matches, and got back around $13. But the worst part is that I had to pay 0.70cents to get that money because they refused to pay it! I also Didnt receive the correct amount. They forgot $2 too, and I made the thread on AGO (I only have 10 posts, so im not a 'true' member) And so far some response, but the people there as so weird... They claimed that they never found cheaper prices than AG. Anyways I PM'd many of the workers and no response so far after over 48hours. My order shipped out 2 days after I made it, ordered Tuesday, shipped Thursday.

    Don't know what people are talking about when they say they have great CS... I also ordered some BOGOs that were from 1 month ago and no one told me that their was anything wrong with them, but I swear if I only get one of those 3 items... All hell will come loose! Especially because some of it is a friend of mine and hes expecting to do a detail next week. Again, we will see.

    So far things aren't looking good for them, and if one more thing goes wrong, I'm not making any more orders with them, sticking to the ones that have served me well: Detailed Image, AutowerkesExclusive (cant comment on more as I haven't used them).

    Now thats what I call CS!

    Ohh, Im not saying I didnt pay. I did, but I told them about how refunds are supposed to be the whole amount, and as a bit company they should pay the fee as its only fair.

    As for the Bogos I know you guys warned me, but Meghan said she packed my order and checked it over herself, and getting nothing negative back from her I'm assuming everything is ok.

    ive never had a problem with ag, all returned items and took care of damaged items by ups, but ordering from ken and phil has always been smooth and easy as well

    Its not terrible, its just too slow for what I'm used to, everything from Emails, PMs calls etc. just take long, refunds and shipping too. Plus I left notes for them on how much the difference is, and the total I should receive and I dont know how they got the amount they sent me... Its just so random!

    We will see. BTW are they closed tomorrow?

    I've never had any problems contacting them. Also since you did do price matching it does take an extra day to process through all the custom orders they recieve and read through all the notes and changing prices.

    Dont price match next time and your order will ship out the same day or next. It also depends upon what time your ordered. You cant order past noon and expect it to ship out that same day. Most venders have a specific pick up time with shipping companies around noon-ish so by the time you place your order the pick up van/trunk will have already done its round.

    Also if you already didnt know. BOGO items cannot be discounted with a 10% or 15% off sale.

    me too, I have no problem with AG, they usually reply my emails within 24hours. Everything is fine, shipped to Vancouver, Canada too.

    I know they can be discounted, but I matched 4 items: Meguiars APC, Applicators, Opti-Bond and Grit Guards. All of which were approved by CS before ordering and I did all the math for them, but still get a strange amount refunded with me having to pay for fees for them. And I ordered the night of and expected it to ship the next day, but you have a point with the extra day for price matching- so I'll cut them slack there.

    I'll wait to see my order before I do anything else ;)

    Completely false. I had an order last week ship out on Monday.

    I don't wanna sound like a fanboy here, but I've never, ever had a single problem with Autogeek and their services. I can say the same though for Phil, Justin, George (detailed image), and Paul from Chemical Guys.

    Autogeek service is incredible, and I'm surprised you're having trouble. I know some others like P1et on the forum have their own personal reasons to "boycott" their site, forum etc but the fact of the matter is they will do their best to make things right....at least from what I've seen. I support buying from all vendors, and don't favor anyone of them. Hope you're ultimately happy with your purchase.

    I personally think AG can be a little weird. The people as mentioned earlier in this thread on their forum are weird. They can be really uptight so i stopped visiting that forum over a year or more ago.

    AG is ok. Customer service can be kind of weak at times. What i found to be weird was:

    no where in the section does it state that price matched items can not be discounted. After i placed my order and had them price matched i had a code that was sent to me by AG for 15% off so i used it. Customer Service wrote back and said that i could only use 1 or the other not both, but on their website it doesn't state that. So the price match didn't go through but i still got my 15% off since that was the greater discount.

    My 1st order from AG i got a couple of free goodies. This was my second order from them and o didn't get any goodies at all. I can order some stuff locally from Ranney at the Pakshak and get hooked up.

    Only reason AG got my order this time was the free shipping to Hawaii they offered but never again will i order from them.

    They shouldn't pay your currency conversion fee (I'm assuming that's what it was). Blame that on your bank for being money grubbing.

    No, it wasnt conversion. I know Paypal as I use it a lot,

    -$0.68 USD
    Thats what it looks like... Not my bank, its just to fee to send money payable by the sender, or you can choose not to pay it so the receiver does, in this case I do.

    So they didn't do a refund, they did a payment back to you. Just be glad you got any refund to begin with.

    I'm sorry, but why should I be glad that I got anything? I dont understand this reasoning... I Emailed CS before I ordered and even they confirmed that the Price Match will work, and in fact the prices are cheaper than theirs after a 15% discount. I made the order expecting I would get that difference back, not just some of it...

    You're griping because Autogeek gave you a price match (which is insane in itself) and free shipping to Canada. Seriously, if you're going to gripe about 70 cents you can order your products from another vendor in Canada and pay their pricing (which you know isn't as good, since you ordered from AG). You got a good deal with a vendor that virtually bends over backwards to get the sale (sometimes questionable tactics/ethics?) and you're worried about 69 cents.

    I know it sounds stupid, but yes I am, and also for the $2 they missed. Price matching isnt insane... Its what they do "We will meet or beat anyones prices"

    That like saying, well you won the lottery for $1 000 000, but only got $800 000 due to them keeping $200 000. "Well you still got a lot of money" Not really because I didnt get everything I expected.

    Im going to give them time and see how they work things out.
