I've had a bad experience with autogeek so I avoid them most anything that they have I can getfrom another company

 

I agree, hardly a great deal. AG marks up some of their products as much as 70%. I try to avoid buying from them. Buy from one of the forums sponsors, if you can.

 

I guess buying from forum sponsors is better for the mainland customers. Out here in Hawaii shipping is ridiculous and i have found AG to have good prices and service and one of the few places that charges reasonable shipping and not try to make extra money off me from shipping. i mean where else can you get a bottle of 85rd for $29.99 AND 15% off!!!

 

Where is the 85rd? I only saw 85U.

AG is BUNK!!!

 

There is always some promotion by AG. They will probably have something active (besides their usual bogo's, etc) until new years.

 

Glad to see it's not just me feeling underwhelmed by a whopping 15% off sale.
Yet the members over there will be all over it and thanking AG as if they were getting some spectacular deal.

There's this whole Kool-Aide drinker feeling about that community. Some nice members to be sure (as a matter of fact most members seems nice) but there's this all-permeating atmosphere of 'all praise the benevolent AG' feeling that turns me off.
It's one of the things that initially drove me to broaden my detailing community exposure/participation.

I frequent three or four detailing forums and see the good and bad on them all. I browse thru them for things that intrest me and advance my learning curve. I'm thankful of what the owners of these forums offer to me for free and try to respect them and their sponsors. If i don't care for any certain product I might say I don't use it but won't trash it on the sponsors own forum. Most forum members belong to more then one forum and know of most specials and sales. Just an old mans two cents as they say.
Now here is a Black Friday special that as far as I know isn't sold at any detailing places. Lowes is offering the Werner Aluminum Platform #146404 for $22.00 - normally $43.00 but priced at my local store for $49.00. I want to pick one up for reaching SUV roofs.
