    Hi guys

I was ask to clean up this brand new R8 in the last min. Sales couldn't wait for next available date and didn't want anyone else touching the car ( dealership detailer on vacation) . I work in the dealership as a technician, these kinda stuff happens all the time ( last min favors )

The exterior is a gray- ish metallic white, interior was selected by owner. I used all dealership's detail inventory here, none of my goodies :(

    ONLY iPhone pics :(

Dealership only has a nylon wash brush, so I found the cleanest MF towel to wash the car.

Making it happen to have the buyer experience "Tightness" sort of.....................at least SOMEONE(You) care about the customer coming in plunking down thier $ 135,000.00 and getting a clean car(How did this happen as was the PDI done five minutes before you got it..................Sales kills the service staff always..........................count on it.

The fact that they do not even have appropriate products and tools to clean the car really scares me............. geez buy a sponge atleast for the detailer guys

we only have 1 detail guy LOL and his on vacation. Dealership is scare to give this to the hacks, after countless times I point stuff out to them ( tho they still use them )

This R8 v10 is 200 g, with the audi exclusive 20 g option said my sales guy.

Or they could've let you drive it home and use ur own goodies. And let them know of your side job. :giggle:

They know what I do already, and think im too expensive.

I couldn't drive home, it was 6 pm and dealership closes at 9 pm. simply put I was the only guy they could count on at the spot. I do hope there will be more R8s for me :)

Indeed they do. Cars blocked in, cars MIA, cars not PDI'd, cars last minute, cars last minute in HORRIBLE condition.... salesmen are ruthless when it comes to time.

Way to improvise, adapt and achieve great results.
Audi of Manhattan seems to always a R8 of some sort in the front window.
