This Audi A4 was the second detail out of four this past week, the client wanted a full basic interior and exterior detail with a paint sealant application. Thanks! And the high traffic is pretty good, i've noticed that it only works best when diluted in steaming hot water, seems to be a little more concentrated than zeps other extractor fluids. After fully vaccuuming the area I then pre-spray with Folex, wait ten minutes, spray down the Zep/ steaming hot water mix and agitate with a brush.
Works great with hot hot hot water, with agitation you can get some great foam and in conjunction with Folex or a pre-spray its pretty good! Thanks for looking!
Wow.... man you are good! How long did you have to let the leatherique rejuvenator oil sit for? Do you think it's okay to apply the oil onto the leather and keep the car in the garage without pulling it out to sit in the sun all day? After using the leatherique did you use the 303 aerospace as a protection on the seats? Sorry for all the questions, but I have these products and never used them yet, but I will in a few days for sure. I'd appreciate any help my friend.
I'd love to help! I let the oil sit for around 2 hours, due to time constraints on most of my clients cars < 9 hours I apply it first thing as soon as I get the car. You can allow the oil to sit on the seat to work its magic for up 42 hours I believe. I have left it on an older lexus with cracked beige seats for 12 hours in direct sun with garbage bags over the seats to create the "sauna" effect. And finally yes you may let it sit on the seats in your garage without the sun, the oil just works better with time and heat. The difference however after 2-3 hours with or without sun is incredible. It is my "pre-spray" for leather, I follow up with Lexol pH and then a conditioner afterwards, I find that even on damaged and cracked leather, the oil will soften it to the point where you can safely agitate the surface without causing any more damage. As for the 303 on leather....never tried it, I have another anniversary edition corvette today so I will try it in a couple hours! Glad I could help! -Dan
Ever put it on the seats and then realize you had to move the car for some reason? that happened to me once...should've seen me try to figure out how to move it without having anything to cover the seat completely haha
HAHAHAH YES, it happens a lot, I carry along with me huge clear trash bags, kinda like the ones transport companies put on the seats, and I throw them on when I have to move. Let me guess you tried the "hover?"
hahaha tried but I did not feel comfortable balancing my weight and using the pedals at the same time so i just used a whole bunch of microfibers to cover the seat and then went back and added a little oil to where it got absorbed in the towels
Hahaha I know the feeling, I literally laughed out loud when I read the email with your original comment, the hover didn't work out too well for me either.
