HI Guys, I detailed this car over the weekend. It was an import from the US as apparently the Red colour version wasn't sold in Canada. The WRB (World Rally Blue) is just too common and it's a change to see this red one. The after market exhaust on it sounds really nice as well...a nice rumble to it which is not too loud and obnoxious. Comments Welcome. :headbang:
Very nicely done, those red ones are very hard to find up here, I've only seen Pearl White, Black and WRB
yup, as mentioned at the top, it was an import from down south. i wanted to correct the paint as the owner wants to clear bra it but the scheduling didn;t allow enough time. thank you Dave. it's great and an honour to receive comments from top notch guys like yourself and others on the forum. if a pro says it's good, then it must be good. haha...=D
car looks great! color is nice on that car... what did you use to clean the weathertech mats? did you treat them cause they look really dark? a lot of the ones i get still looks grayish/not realy "clean" after i'm done scrubbing them down. just always afraid to b/c i don't want them to be slippery.
Nice work! I also did one recently it was a pleasure to work on here is the link if you care to check it out. http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/show-shine/29864-2011-wrx-paint-correction-opti-coat.htm
What is this? I have to ask. It looks like a zhong zi. Chinese Rice Dumplings (Buk Chang/Zhong Zi) | Flickr - Photo Sharing! That interior looks so spotless it makes me want to clean mine more! What do you use to clean the pedals?
Thank you for taking the time to look and comment guys! Much appreciated. =D yeah after i took another look at the photos, the red is popping. And there wasn't much sun out, i say that b/c i had to change thru 6+ t-shirts when i detailed the car, it was a hot 27 celcius (80 F). i cleaned them using heavily diluted APC+ and lots of scrubbing and wiping with MF but also ensuring that i didn't scratch them up with the brush. i used the boar's hair brush, the hairs are darn soft. it is a chinese rice dumpling. a very large one. you fill the leaves with sticky rice and insert "toppings" into the middle. then wrap with string and boil in water tll cooked. then you peel the leaves and bite into the sticky rice and enjoy. the one in the pic is a half eaten dumpling and the rice was all dried. the owner forgot that he placed it under the seat...haha... the pedals i wiped with water first and then sprayed diluted APC onto a MF and rubbed it in and then rinsed it right after. i also used a small brush to scrub some stubborn dirt stuck on. no dressing on the pedals, even though there are rubber anti-slip spots on the face of it. it's an expired dumpling...lol...it didn't give off a scent though even for expired food. ahahaha =D
