It took 4 days to complete. Paint was extremely trashed, but that is the norm around here. :(

I wasn't going to take any pictures because I initially guessed this detail to be a 2 day job and wanted to be done asap, but 3.5 hours later - the time it took to do the hood I realized that it will take a lot longer and occasionally I stopped to document.

Yeah, I just moved out here, and would have to agree. Most of the cars out here have pretty thrashed paint. It's a pretty fair bet to say it's because of the whole "green movement" causing people to use the car wash at places like Kaddy car wash. I had a Honda Element come in a month ago that was in pretty similar shape.

Excellent job on the rehab! I had an allroad with the same colour scheme and am quite aware of how much work goes in to prepping so you can fix paint. A job well done.

    Beautiful recovery, Portland !!

Those dang car washes are killers of paintwork.

Just perfect, clear, paintwork - the Client probably had to be revived when they fainted, right ?? :)

What did you use - Random Orbital or Rotary Power ?

    Thanks for sharing !
