How's Everybody doing? Regular customer, first time giving the car a good polish. This is the second vehicle I have used Aquartz Titanium on and so far no issues. I plan on doing a short review plus with updates. I see this car every other week so I should be able to keep an eye on, durability, protection, etc. Enjoy! Interior (regular bi-weekly type cleaning inside) - Vacuum out while dusting dash with brush - Wipe down with dilution of OPC - ONR light dilution interior windows Exterior - Wheels cleaned with Sonax FE Wheel Cleaner rinsed with nomad sprayer - Wheel wells/tires cleaned with OPC rinsed with nomad sprayer - ONR wash - ONR in door jams - Clay with yellow clay with ONR clay lube - IPA wipedown x4 - wanted to make sure paint was bare - Menzerna Power Finish, Yellow Uber Pad, Flex 3401 - Aquartz - Aquawax on wheels, exterior windows, door jams - CarPro Perl 1:1 on tires Paint correction pictures: Note: In a couple of the after pictures it looks like there still some swirls...most of these are just the metal housing of the halogen light. Before After Before After Before After Aquartz It amazing how much the halogens bring out the bronze metallic flake. These two pictures are in natural light with flash When I first got there it was most sunny and I needed to polish and apply the Aquartz in the garage. To make space I had to pull the other car out. Only issue was that by the time I was done, it was raining and to pull both cars back in properly to fit, the CL had to go out in the rain for a moment. This is how the rain looked on the paint after pulling it out and back in. It wasn't raining real hard at this point so there was not "OMG" beading or sheeting. But drying the car was a breeze, basically one swipe around the car with a plush drying towel and it was dry. Beauty Shot Thanks for looking! EDIT: Sun Pics....there was much more sun today so I stopped by. Forgot my camera so bear with me, the picture are from my cell phone. Thought some might be interested in how the Aquartz looks outside.
Nice work correcting this car. Its much bigger than you would think. IMO because it starts at $120k and the interior is very very plain.
Very nice work there. What type of towel did you use to apply AQ? I'm not sure if I should use a deep or short nap towel.
The car rarely looks this brown, 95% of the time it looks like the two pictures without the halogens. I kinda like the bronze flake though. I used the short nap side of a Uber No Name (think thats what it is, Phil can confirm which one is in the picture.)
