What is the best and most effective way to use this stuff? LMK what else works good. Thanks.

If you want good coverage and even spray, then put it into a pressurized pump sprayer and apply it like as if you were "spray painting" the panel

The pump sprayer is more even coverage than a hand sprayer but you'll use more product

Hold the trigger down and go from side to side or down and up

Using it after clay so you maximize total contact with subsurface contamination(the point of these products) instead of doing it as a pre-wash or preclay there by limiting the amount of stuff blocking contact.

I understand your point about using it post clay barring, but after a double snow foaming with Zep and Dawn then power wash. Then a washing 2x with CG CWR & CG Strong Wash combo I'm not too worried about that much stuff on the surface that would cover up anything below the surface.

I am assuming that the Iron-X reaction with the iron particles is most likely incomplete and the entire iron particle has not been dissolved. So the particle is smaller and looser fitting in the paint's 'pore' so that clay barring afterwards would result in more particles being pulled from the paint instead of being sheared off leaving a portion of the particle still below the surface.

I'm sure both views have valid points. I've been washing off the clay residue with Iron-X Soap Gel so maybe that is helping remove the stuff uncovered by the claybarring.
