For those of you who use Z16, what applicator are you using? I typically use these to apply tire dressings: Auto Detailing Contour Tire Shine Foam Applicator and they work great, but with Z16 they don't work as well. Z16 is very watery and a lot of it runs off the applicator and ends up on the floor and on the rims, which is very annoying and a waste of products.
I press a foam applicator to the top of the bottle, turn it around, and back down again. Then apply it to the tire. Yes, if you pour it on there it will run off.
I use an uber yellow foam app. I spray the dressing onto the app and fold it a little bit so the dressing soaks into it.
Yeah, that's how I do it, but I still manage to get some on the floor. I wonder if there is another applicator that might work a bit better for this one.
I use the foam applicators from target. They have a grey plastic top with a soft black foam. Ive seen them included with some megs tire shine kits. I have some applicators very similiar to the ones your using and hate them. The target style ones will hold the product and spread it more evenly.
I use those apps too, as well as the foam blocks Phil sells. I think its easier to put a spray head on top so you can just spray into the foam. It helps it not run off that way. FK108 is super similar to Z16 so the spray head should work just about the same
