Hey guys, I am re-working the website for the company I work for. I not a web design noob, but I am certainly amateur. Can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to work around browser compatibility issues? For example right now, I have some images on the home page that frame a video. In IE, they all line up fine and it looks cool (although corny, I have to change it). But in firefox the pictures dont line up at all. Please someone help me out here if you know what im talking about and know how to fix it. I can PM you the test site address, I can't post it up because we seel a few car care products that some forum sponsors sell. Thanks!
How are you coding the site? Are you using something like Dreamweaver or are you coding by hand? It might be a CSS issue; PM me a link to your site and I"ll take a look at it.
Are you using CSS or do you have a bunch of Active X controls? Often DocType is an issue if the site works in IE but not in Firefox. THIS is a very handy site for testing CSS.
Guys, its not using and style sheets or any active X, its just a simple table and simple HTML code using images. Anything that is CSS on the site is controled byb the website software, and its not having any issues. Its just the damn homepage that I am working on. Thats why I have no idea whats wrong, I tried to keep it simple (KISS) and it didnt work! Thanks for looking ionto it for me.
