    That's a pretty price tag...:eyebrow:
I'm thinking of getting steamer instead of hot water extractor. After all, steam should have more power...

I've been looking at extractor too. It seems that most people are going with the durrmaid you posted or the Mytee 8070. I'm not really finding anyone complain about either. I know that's not much help, I'm just interested in reading more reviews on this myself.

I believe that mytee and duramaid are made by the same guy....

i think Grouse can answer this one...I have the duramaid and for 1-2 cars a day its a great machine.

I have not used the duramaid, but for a 1 car a day shop it is about the best deal going. I am not sure who makes it. It is available in janitorial, auto, building maintenance, professional carpet, Rv and even some home magazines. it is usually relabled "aztec" or something.

I have 2 friends who use to have Duramaids...and they did not like them...had pump problems..heater problems...leaks around the hose input and had to replace switches alot...Now I heard they redesigned the unit ..now if its better I do not know.....

I just bought a Mytee HP60 and am very happy SO far....more money but a work horse so far...I talked to Grouse on chemicals and got what he recommended and have been very happy...

Ive never used a duramaid, but we use our MYTEE pretty much and it has help up well for as old as it is. The tips can/will clog but a welding tip cleaner makes it easy to keep clean.

I dont know how anyone could live without an extractor...
Fabric Clean and Lightning Fast are awesome with a hot water extractor btw.
