Anyone use this light???

    If its not metal halide then it wont offer any more benefit than your average halogen for viewing defects.

    Its a 38 watt florescent bulb.

    Yes but its still just a florescent light ;)

    What are you looking to use this light for? They do make halogen lights that are about the same size.

    I want this light to light up the area I'm working on. yes I have a halogen that size. my garage space is very limited so a tripod halogen is out of the picture.

    If you already have a halogen that size then I would stick with it over that DeWalt. Although that DeWalt would make a nice light when doing interiors since it wont get near as hot.
