I wanted to see if anyone here has any experance with Optimum Instant Detailer. I currently use Adams Detail spray for a quick detiler and optimum No Rinse for clay lube. Im pretty happy with ONR and though that getting a concentrated DS would make sense too. http://detailersdomain.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=5368d35bc73413f2bb285744e1a323d2& Anyone???
I dont see that may threads talking about OID, and when its mentioned its just a few people saying they like it. I wanted to know what it would be comperable too.
i use the stuff. its good stuff. i feel its just as slick as all the other QDs out there. i have noticed streaking on black paint before, but using a 4:1 ratio helped reduce it.
It work good and is a great deal but I still rather use Prima Slick or CG P-40 detailer, I only use OID when I have a gallon of distilled water to dilute it at 3:1 with this way it performs the best dont dilute it with hard water.
oooooooooooo. I like diluted products. So wallet friendly. anyone want to trade a sample? Its a product on the list of OPT things I want to try.
My main QD. Use it at 3:1 w/ a Kwazar, it really shouldn't streak if you spread the spray out. Or try applying it directly to your MF towel then wiping sections of the panel. I haven't used the Adams QD in years so really can't remember enough to compare them.
Just a great QD that I reach for every single time. I have never had an issue with streaking, even when using a single MF. Just use a normal MF, not one of these 8 inch thick crap ones. You can mist your panel, spread the QD and with the other side of the towel work it into the paint. It'll completely disappear. I use distilled water as opposed to regular tap water when diluting.
