Right now I use Surf City BBTP, but don't like that it doesn't last very long. Thinking about Optibond.

I like the simple "new" look of BBTP, not super shiny. I like that it doesn't sling, and doesn't look like a cheap greasy shine.

Hoping some users could chime in with their experiences with it. I'm thinking about ordering a gallon from Phil today, and wanted some input before I buy.

I love it. I use it 50/50 with water becuase I feel it is to thick for me right out of the container. I think next time I will try it out of a York type bottle just straight. I love the look, even after a week, its still just "clean". I have been very happy with it, and so have those that I have used it in their detail.

No problem, I'm pretty confident you'll like it for the price..

Chemical Guys Dressall VRP is a great tire dressing. No Sling, and it's dry to the touch.

optigel is my favourite, the best application I find is to go 50/50 with water and then add some gel by means of a pad at the end, gives a great look.

Can't wait to get this stuff.... my current dressing is having slinging issues and with a white car that is NO GOOD.

    Thanks Dude!

Opti-Bond is a nice tire dressing, but right now my personal favorite is Tropi-Care tire dressing. Very-very low gloss, brand new looking tire (just a bit more gloss then SCGTD), and with 2 coats I get really good durability (2-3 weeks).

A word of advice: make sure you thoroughly clean all the old dressings off for best/longest life. This stuff actually penetrates and bond with the tire for a long lasting, natural look, but anything that inhibits the bond will naturally reduce durability. I shoot it on the tires with a HVLP sprayer and absolutely love it. On old tires I use another dressing that has black dye added, but on everything else, I use Optibond.
