How do they compare to lc cyan, or uber yellow pads used w/ rotary?

I use them with almost every detail. Haven't tried the LC Cyan, and only the Uber yellow a coupe of times.

But I will say they cut fast and HOT. Be very careful with panel temps as the way the pads are cut (the thickness) and the PPI of the pad itself make it a very agressive pad. Easy to heat up the paint just a bit too much and twist it, or go right through!

They have a bit of a learning curve, and are very stiff when starting out. But once they get some heat in them, they work like magic. I love them to death.

The 3M pads in general rock. As doot mentioned the green pad is quite firm and can generate some heat so be careful (as always) when using them :thumb:
