Anyone got any extra brushes they don't need?

I'd be interested in a swissvax wheel brush and a daytona speed master brush. new or used as long as it's in alright condition.

Just let me know if you can sell it cheap I got the paypal ready.

Hey I really appreciate the offer, but I have a similar brush for the face of the wheels. Just need something similar to the daytona brush to get the areas behind the spokes.

I dont have any for sale but I recommend the Swissvax Detail or Wheel brush. Also the Raceglaze brush set or Envy brush set.

    Thanks Danny,

    I am still confused.

What's the difference between the SV detail and SV wheel brush?

No problem man, I actually ordered the SV Wheel brush from Phil but received the SV Detail brush accidentally. I contacted him and asked him what the difference was because I was concerned and he told me that it was the handle on the SV Wheel brush it is a little bit longer than the SV Detail brush. But other than that they are the same thing. Technically the SV Detail brush is for interior use but I use mine on my wheels, interior, and trim. I just wash it out with some Zep Citrus at 3:1 and my hose with some pressure after each use and let it dry and its as good as new, it has yet to shed a single boars hair. It has never marred or scratched any of the surfaces even with me alternating it each time I use it. As long as its clean I would say its safe:) I would recommend that you get one for interior and one exterior use but if you can only get one just keep it clean until you can get a second. Believe me they are worth every penny and are very well built and Phil even sells them in a 3 pack, which should last you years.

SV Wheel Brush is also just a bigger brush. More appropriate for rims, whereas the SV Detail Brush is a smaller brush so it's easier to agitate vents and stuff.

just go to pepboys or Autozone and buy some, they do have some decent brushes. If you don't want to spend the cash on a new "boutique" type brush then that is a good option. the ones phil sells are DIRT CHEAP. 3 swiss vax wheel brushes for 32.00 plus flat rate is DIRT DIRT CHEAP. Cheaper and better quality then then auto parts stores, but the time you replace them in 6 monthes LOL

Have you seen the new Detailed Image brushes? They have several new ones but the prices are outrageous.

Are you saying the autozone brushes need replacement in 6 months or the swissvax ones?

autozone, pepboys etc..... my personal experience is they are not that great of bristle quality and they do not last. Thus I stopped buying them. The swissvax brushes are great and last if you take care of them. I dipped the handles in deckstain as to water proof them, and I used compressed air to dry them when I am done.

What products do you use for polishing, waxing, APC? You get what you pay for and the SV or Raceglaze brushes are worth every penny.

    So what about this brush?

    Zymol Wheel Brush

It's a Zymol brush, cheaper than the swissvax.

For waxes I use collinite 476/845, AG HD, and BF Wetdiamond, polishes: Menzerna 83/106, APC: Zep citrus/purple for tires and wheel wells (and occasional rubber mats), OPC,ONR, AG Interior shampoo.

I get that you get what you pay for, I just dont understand why some brush costs $20 bucks after shipping.

I had a zymol brush like that but it cracked and started releasing the hairs in clumps. The SV brush is constructed with a much better adhesive bc mine has split and has only shead a few hairs in the year I have had it.

I also have the new zymol wheel brush that has a long black handle and is curved at the end but have not used it yet. I know Ankeet has one.
