Guys, I was wondering if anyone here has an empty iron-x spray bottle? I think the 500ml bottle came with the clear plastic (no metal spring) trigger sprayer. I'd be really grateful if you could help me out. I can Paypal you some funds for shipping. Happy new year!
I have one, but the bottom of the bottle got squished during shipping so it looks funny (tilts a little when you set it down on the ground as well)
Thank you very much for offering your help Sir! If no one else has one that is not dented, I will definitely get in touch with you!
Thank you, I will! This is the bottle I am looking for and as you can see, the sprayer-head on the newer version of these bottles from CarPro is all plastic, even the trigger spring: Please, if you have one like this, empty, that you don't longer need, it would really help me out.
Yes, I see! It's kind of hard to tell, but is the spring in yours metal? I have heard that the older versions came with metal springs and it would make the chemical turn purple/red over time after using it. Not sure if that has a negative effect on the chemical.
hmmmmm, the spring in my bottle IS METAL. but the bottle says "new version" and the chemical itself has not turned purple.
Interesting. I'm wondering if anyone is willing to check which bottle they have? Maybe CarPro hasn't sold any bottles with the all plastic trigger yet?
I have an empty bottle from a while ago and went in the garage to check, mine has the metal spring and the area around the spring is filled with a bit of iroxn that has turned purple. it certainly never turned the rest of the ironx in the bottle to turn purple when it was filled/partially filled so hope this might help?
I have a metal spring, also the liquid is not any different color than it was when I got it around 4 months ago
FWIW I have some Iron X in a Kwazar bottle and it has all turned a slight shade of purple, very light though. It still works just as well as normal however.
my ironx turned bright purple in the bottle, I'm assuming it was from the spring because I never opened the bottle to where any contaminates could get in.
