Has anybody uses verticle polishers such as the makita pv7000c? Will they work better on verticle panel?

Looks like it would be a paint to use on horizontal panels. Vertical panels I see one problem and that is that it would have the tendency to tilt backwards, putting more pressure on the bottom on the pad and thus tiring your arms faster. With a normal polisher you have one hand by the had putting light pressure on the pad and the back hand holding it, in this polisher you have a hand holding it and another hand holding it and trying to get even pressure from both hands.

Maybe I am looking at all wrong but that is just what I see looking at hand placements.

hmm, is it the maneuvering, the size, the way you got to hold it or something else that makes it uncomfortable?

I think it is because you are so close in to the motor that does it.... with other polisher you have a hand that is a good deal away from the rotating pad, gives you a nice solid hold.... those thing just feel odd...
